WARRI/Nigeria: A renowned herbal traditional medicine practitioner, HRH Shola David Ogundare, popularly known as Youngest Herbal Practitioner has appealed to governor Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa to establish a herbal traditional medicine centre for traditional medicine practice in Delta State.
Ogundare who is the CEO of Sound Health Nature and Massage Therapy Centre Nigeria Limited made the appeal in a media interaction with our correspondent at his Warri office on Monday April 15th,2019 as he reasoned that the establishment of a herbal traditional medicine research centre will give practitioners the opportunity to exhibit their talents in the practice.
The Abeokuta born Warri based herbal traditional medicine practitioner gave Governor Okowa a pat on the back for giving more recognition to herbal traditional medicine practitioners in the state with the inauguration of more members into the Delta State Traditional Medicine Board.
“This has really uplifted the standard of traditional medicine practice right from local and state government levels,” Ogundare stated.
He had earlier congratulated governor Okowa over his electoral victory, saying that it was a victory well deserved.
I am happy that I voted for him and part of his victory. He did well in his first tenure. We hope that he will do better in his second tenure.”
