“When I become the Chairman, I will change the narrative of our people’s lackadaisical attitude to education.  Modalities will be put in place, which will lead the mind set in our people’s perception to education.  Scholarships from local and foreign bodies will help boost the educational sector of Ethiope West “He stated.

The Chairmanship hopeful told the people that “I am not just aspiring to become the Chairman of Ethiope West local government area because others are aspiring or I just want to be (Chairman) for the sake of the name, rather I have ideas which I want to implement to leave a legacy in the council by the time I finally vacate office when the tenure is over”

Chief Nani while praying for Hon. Tashemi Jonathan for God to guide and protect him in his quest as he run the race for the council number one job,he advised him not to see the position  as a do or die affair.
