ASABA/Nigeria: In a solemn display of solidarity and respect, Chief Henry Uzozie, the National Leader of Igbo bu Igbo General, extended his heartfelt condolences to the people of Asaba upon the passing of His Royal Majesty, Obi Prof Chike Joseph Edozien, the revered Asagba of Asaba. Chief Uzozie’s visit to the palace of the late monarch in Asaba was not only an expression of sympathy but also a recognition of the profound loss experienced by the community.
Chief Ezekweche 1, speaking in sorrowful tones, echoed Chief Uzozie’s sentiments, emphasizing the significant void left by the departure of the first-class monarch. “The death of the first-class monarch was a great loss to Asaba people and Delta State in general,” stated Chief Ezekweche 1, adding, “his wise counsel was highly needed at this time.”
