SAPELE/Nigeria: The Sapele Christian Associations of Nigeria (CAN) has held a one day prayer summit in Sapele Local Government, as part of effort to eradicate killing, kidnapping, cultism, in Sapele.
The prayer summit which was held in Sapele township stadium was part of its statewide campaign against kidnapping and cultism.
According to Sapele CAN Chairman, Pastor Ajayi Abayomi Samuel the killing and kidnapping has been rapid in Sale of recent especially the issue of cultism, that all that was needed was Gods intervention to eradicate it by prayer.
It has been recorded in the past how rampant cult related activities and kidnapping around the metropolis has led to lose of lives of many which might have informed the decision of the CAN to hold the prayer rally.
