UMUAHIA/Nigeria: In a heartwarming celebration of faith, Christian Girls in Training (CGIT), an auxiliary organization affiliated with the Presbyterian Church Of Nigeria’s Solid Rock Parish in Umuahia, Abia State, bestowed the prestigious title of “2023 Baby of the Year” upon the young and deserving Miss Ola Precious Chizaramekpere Ifeanyi-Okali.
Miss Ifeanyi-Okali’s journey into the spotlight is a tale of remarkable timing, as she graced her parents, Ifeanyi Okali and Oluchi, with her presence precisely 11 years after they united in matrimony. The award presentation was a momentous occasion, marked by the presence of the Parish’s distinguished minister, Rt Rev Ezera Ume, who affectionately referred to the young honoree as “OlaPre.”
Christian Girls in Training, a cherished facet of the Presbyterian Church, stands as a haven for young girls aged from 1 to 21 years, diligently overseen by individuals who are deeply imbued with spiritual fervor. In an emotional response to the recognition of his daughter, Mr. Ifeanyi Okali, the Director of ABN TV, expressed his profound gratitude to the church. He described Ola Precious Chizaramekpere as a “miracle child” whose arrival brought an end to over a decade of tears and sorrow stemming from the trials of childlessness.
