Civil Servants Charged To Redouble Efforts On Service Delivery

ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State civil servants have been charged to redouble their efforts in service delivery to strengthen the drive for a stronger Delta.

The Commissioner for Energy, Rt. Hon. Basil Ganagana, gave the charge during the first management meeting held in his office with directors of various departments in the ministry.

Ganagana thanked the management staff for their co-operation in the past year, encouraging them to brace up in their duties in the New Year.

The commissioner further charged the management staff of the ministry to do their best in meeting up with the policy thrust of the ministry.

He said that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa was ever ready to work with the ministry to resolve electricity issues in the state.

In his remark, the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Dr Francis Onojeta, thanked the commissioner for giving them the opportunity and the enabling environment to work with him.

He assured the commissioner that the directors of the ministry would do all in their ability to ensure the policy thrust of the ministry was met.
