ISHAGU/Nigeria: Christians and other individuals on earth have been admonished to always impact positively on the lives of others in one way or the other for they to be remembered when the need arises.
A clergy, Fr. Henry Ogonwa of Immaculate Conception, Ishagu in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State gave the advice in Okpanam during the burial mass/ ceremony of the Late Mr. Harold Chinedu Ukah, a cousin to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief Patrick Ukah.
Fr. Ogonwa said that the quality of life and genuine achievements of any individual on earth were more important than the number of years they had lived on earth.
He called on the children of the deceased to sustain the legacies of their father, adding that the late Mr. Harold Chinedu Ukah was known to have shown love to several people who had come across him.
In his tribute, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief Patrick Ukah noted that he was still in shock and disbelief that his cousin was no more, stressing that the social and friendly dispositions of the deceased were unequaled.
Earlier in their separate remarks, the Chief Whip of Oshimili North Legislative Arm, Hon. Jeffrey Mordi, Mrs. Loveth Isiaye (nee Ukah) , Tony Ukah, and Chukwuma Ukah who are cousins to the deceased described him as kind-hearted, humble, peaceful, and always happy.
They stated that the late Mr. Harold Chinedu Ukah was always jovial to people and loved by many people.
Speaking in an interview, the children of the deceased, Miss Ifeyunwa Ukah and Miss Onyinye Ukah said that their father was their friend, adding that the deceased inculcated discipline in them.
While saying that they were pained by the death of their father, which according to them had created a vacuum in their lives, the duo stated that the children would emulate and sustain his legacies.
