EFFURUN/Nigeria: The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Community Development, Dr. Patrick Ighomrore, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his two-year anniversary in office, describing his leadership as people-centered and development-driven.
Dr. Ighomrore, in a statement on Wednesday, commended the governor for keeping faith with the M.O.R.E Agenda, noting that the state’s communities have witnessed improved infrastructure, healthcare, and economic empowerment under his watch. He said the governor has given voice and visibility to grassroots development in a way never seen before.
According to him, Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to building bridges—both literal and figurative—has led to the rapid transformation of riverine and rural communities, bringing long-awaited connectivity and opportunities for growth.
Dr. Ighomrore praised the governor’s inclusive approach to governance, saying the people of Delta now feel a greater sense of belonging and ownership in state policies and development projects. “The state is not only witnessing growth but also healing and harmony under his administration,” he said.
He urged Deltans to continue supporting the governor as he drives the state forward, emphasizing that the next two years will be even more impactful, with the foundation already laid through strategic investment in people and infrastructure.
