Community Newspaper Publishers Pledges Supports for Okowa’s Second Term

ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa had continued to receive the goodwill of Deltans, Associations and Organisations operating in the state, on his second term victory, and subsequent inauguration on May 29, 2019, as the Executive Governor of Delta State.

In the latest good will message to the governor, members of the Association of Community Newspapers Publishers of Nigeria, ACNPN, had in a letter made available to www.ndokwareporters.com, congratulated the governor, on what they had termed a well deserved victory in the last General Election conducted in March this year.

The letter, signed by the Publicity Secretary of the Delta State chapter, Mr. Cyprian Eboagu, stated that his electoral victory had brought peace and united Deltans as one people with one destiny, as exemplified with the mammoth crowd that witnessed his second term swearing-in.

“Your electoral victory had brought peace and united Deltans more as one people with one destiny. The mammoth crowd that graced your swearing in ceremony attested to your huge achievement in infrastructural development, Human Capital Development, and Security Improvement across the State.”

The association, while appreciating the robust supports from the governor during his first tenure, pledged to continue their supports to the government to ensure that the planned projects and programmes of the government are carried out according to the direction of the government, and for the good of Deltans, through their assessments and reports from the grassroots, as they report the feelings and aspiration of the people.
