Highlighting the electorate’s choice through the ballot, Uviejitobor underscored the mandate entrusted by the people of Delta State upon Sheriff Oborevwori for the forthcoming quadrennial tenure. He vehemently dismissed any potential efforts to subvert this electoral endorsement as futile and without merit.
Extending felicitations on behalf of himself, his family, and allied political support groups, Uviejitobor congratulated Governor Oborevwori and Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme on their victory. He urged them to maintain a steadfast focus on fostering peace, progress, and effective governance within the state.
Acknowledging the Governor’s steadfast commitment to implementing the administration’s ‘MORE’ agenda for the benefit of Deltans, Uviejitobor expressed sanguinity in the fulfillment of all electoral promises made.
He specifically pointed to the imminent commencement of flyover bridge constructions and road expansions in Warri and Effurun as pivotal contributors to socio-economic growth within these areas.
Underlining Governor Oborevwori’s dedication to completing initiatives commenced by prior administrations, Uviejitobor affirmed the Governor’s preparedness to elevate Delta State to unprecedented developmental heights.
In a plea directed at detractors and opponents in the gubernatorial race, the former Principal Officer in the State Legislature implored an end to legal distractions, urging a collective pivot towards peace and progress in Delta State.
“The time for litigation and contention against Governor Oborevwori has passed,” Uviejitobor stressed. “He is fully devoted to governance and should not face unnecessary disruptions. All stakeholders must unite in bolstering his efforts for the advancement of our state.”
