COVID-19: Onyeme Donate Food Items to Ndokwa West

KWALE/Nigeria: The Chairman, Delta state board of internal revenue, Chief Monday Onyeme has donated food items to Ndokwa West “State Palliative Committee”, under the chairmanship of Hon. Chris Osakwe.

The food items which included 50 bags of rice (50kg), and 150 cartons of indomie, are expected to be distributed amongst the most vulnerable across the wards in the local government area.

Speaking at the presentation of the food items, Chief Monday Onyeme said that the gesture was to cushion the effects of the lockdown on the people.

He noted that the gesture was part of his efforts to encourage the people at this trying period.

While calling on the people to continue to adhere to government directives as a measure to contain the COVID-19 in the state, Onyeme commended the people of Ndokwa West for adhering to government directives.

He urged the good people of Ndokwa West to continually support the adminstration of Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa especially in his efforts to contain the deadly pandemic in the state.

Furthermore, while receiving the food items, the executive chairman of Ndokwa West, Hon. Chris Osakwe  expressed appreciation to Chief Onyeme for always reaching out to his people.
