Dafinone Felicitates With Oborevwori, Deltans on 34th Anniversary of State Creation

ABUJA/Nigeria: Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the people of Delta State on the 34th anniversary of the state’s creation, describing the milestone as both a moment of celebration and reflection.

In a goodwill message to mark the anniversary, Dafinone commended the remarkable progress recorded in the state since its creation in 1991, noting that Delta has grown in peace, unity, and development despite challenges along the way. He expressed confidence that the state’s best years are still ahead.

“Delta State has recorded remarkable progress in peace, unity, and development, and I firmly believe that our best years are still ahead,” the senator said.

He applauded Governor Oborevwori for his dedication and commitment to advancing the state through his Renewed Hope for More Agenda, describing it as a vehicle for people-oriented programmes and projects that are gradually reshaping communities across the state.

Dafinone urged all Deltans to sustain the values of unity, resilience, and mutual respect that bind them together, stressing that collective effort remains key to building a stronger and more prosperous state. “By working collectively, we can build a stronger, more prosperous Delta State where opportunities abound for every citizen,” he noted.

The senator also extended his warmest congratulations to Deltans in the diaspora, charging them to remain steadfast in their shared vision of a state anchored on justice, peace, unity, and sustainable development.
