ASABA/Nigeria: As the deadline for the submission of candidates and their running mates draws close, the governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Delta Stat Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi, has picked a woman, from Ukwuani Local Government Area as his running mate.
The Governorship hopeful, has joined the All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to harvest their running mates from and within Ndokwa Nationality.
By this selection of a female as running mate, Gbagi has broken records in Delta as none of the governors since creation of Delta has appointed a woman as running mate.
Gbagi has picked Chief Mrs Oshilim Ishioma Rosemary, which is believed will make the women in Delta, who statically had been adjudged the most fateful when it comes to election in Nigeria to vote for the SDP in 2023.
