Delta Anti Cult Unit Warns Group to Steer Off the State

ASABA/Nigeria: The Anticult volunteer corps (AVC) and State Anti cult unit (SACU) has warned the general public against any illegal gathering of a criminal gang known as Black Axe who usually celebrate their anniversary on 7 July every year.

In a statement signed by Mr. Stephen Onojovwo, the Director of Public Relations, Anti Volunteer Corps, the AVC and SACU warned, that anyone found in any illegal gathering on 7th July 2020 will be made to face the constituted laws of Delta State Government of Nigeria.

The statement said that the cult group (black Axe or Aye) has been seen as a criminal gang involved in violence killing, maiming people in the name of rival cult clashes around Delta State. And also involves themselves in criminal activities ranging from murder, violent, intimation and other related crimes.

The AVC and SACU has reviewed the NBM is the same as Ayes or black Axe confraternity in time past. 7/7 day.

Furthermore, The AVC and SACU have promised to maintain their stand to frustrate and discourage such illegal gathering. And will not spare anyone found on such illegal gathering and such person will be treated like a criminal.

The black Axe gang is mostly on an attire of colours which are; black trouser, white top, yellow stockings, black beret with white or yellow ribbon, some might put on native attire of white or black colour carrying yellow design.

AVC and SACU urge the general public to be at alert and inform the nearest security agent or agency with reliable Information to bring down the activities of this cult group.
