ASABA/Nigeria: A senior All Progressives Congress (APC) figure in Delta North, Chief Emmanuel Eboh, has sharply criticised former Oshimili North Local Government Chairman, Hon. Louis Ogugua Ndukwe, describing his tenure as “the worst in history” while cautioning him against what he called “dirty politics” targeted at Senator Ned Nwoko.
Eboh, a former commissioner in the state, issued the warning in response to what he termed Ndukwe’s “unending media attacks” on the Delta North senator. He argued that Ndukwe lacks the competence or moral standing to appraise Nwoko’s performance, insisting the senator’s track record speaks for itself.
“The success story of Senator Nwoko as an outstanding and exemplary federal lawmaker is too vivid and significant to be trivialised,” Eboh said. “Even as a first-time senator, Prince Nwoko has distinguished himself as one of the most respected and dutiful members of the 10th Nigerian Senate.”
According to Eboh, Ndukwe’s criticisms are driven by “mischief and ignorance,” noting that Nwoko not only fulfilled his lawmaking duties but also delivered tangible development projects across Delta North.
He highlighted the senator’s sponsorship of more than 30 bills and numerous motions, as well as community projects including roads, solar lighting, water supply and school facilities. Eboh also cited vocational programmes that have taken Delta North youths to China for skills training.
He added that Nwoko’s push for the creation of Anioma State has further solidified his legacy. Eboh also recalled that in 2018, before his election to the Senate, Nwoko spent over ₦100 million of his personal funds rehabilitating the Onicha Ugbo–Idumuje Ugboko–Ewohimi road, and is now working with the NDDC and the federal government on long-term solutions.
Turning his criticism squarely toward Ndukwe, Eboh questioned the former chairman’s own record in office. “What did Ndukwe achieve when he had the opportunity? Nothing,” he said. “He ran off to the UK for nearly six years and squandered the electoral mandate for personal gain.”
He accused Ndukwe of betraying his political supporters and urged him to learn from the current chairman of Oshimili North.
On speculation surrounding the 2027 elections, Eboh said Ndukwe is “free to dream” but insisted there is “no vacancy,” declaring Senator Nwoko “unstoppable by divine power.”
