ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reaffirmed its full support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, declaring him the undisputed leader of the party in the state.
Speaking during a solidarity visit to Government House, Asaba, on Monday, Chairman of the APC in Delta State, Chief Omeni Sobotie, led members of the State Executive Working Committee in what he described as a renewed pledge of loyalty to the Governor and his administration.
Sobotie said the party was fully aligned with Oborevwori’s leadership and the ongoing implementation of the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, which he said is already impacting lives across the state. “We came to reaffirm our support and pledge our solidarity with the Governor of the state, who is the leader of the APC in Delta,” Sobotie stated.
He emphasized that Governor Oborevwori’s position as leader of the party is not in doubt, saying, “If the Governor, as the leader of the party, tells everyone to queue behind him, who is going to question that? Who would act contrary to that?”
The APC chairman called on all Deltans to rally behind the Governor’s programmes and policies, assuring that the party’s support would remain unwavering as the administration delivers on its promises to the people.
