UGHELLI/Nigeria: The Social Democratic Party (SDP) flag bearer for Delta Central Senatorial District, Chief. (Dr.) Ovie Ughwanagho, has, raised the alarm that the original result sheets for the Delta Central Senatorial election is missing.
Ughwanagho, who briefed journalists at his country home in Orogun, stated : “ This development is to further confirm the plan to rig Delta Central elections.
“ It is totally unacceptable to us we will insist that all the elections should hold in one day. Any attempt to make the election an isolated one will not be acceptable to the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and I believe to other opposition parties.
“ Those that stole the original sheets want the election to be postponed so that Delta Central own will be isolated to enable them rig the elections.
“ We have briefed the Commissioner of Police and he said election will not hold without the original materials. We want Nigerians to know what is happening. We want a free and fair elections because it is only free and fair elections that can reflect the aspirations of the people.”
