Delta CJ Reiterates Need for Bench, Bar To Enhance Speedy Justice Delivery

ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State Chief Judge, Justice Marshal Umukoro, has reiterated the need for the Judiciary and Nigerian Bar Association to collaborate to enhance speedy justice delivery.

Justice Umukoro advocated synergy of both institutions of justice when he played host to the new executive members of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Effurun branch in Asaba.

He explained that as ministers in the temple of justice, judicial officers and lawyers should be bold to work together as family and promote the course of justice in all ramifications irrespective of whose ox was gored, saying that the Judiciary could not do it alone without the cooperation of legal practitioners.
