Delta Commissioner Charge Outgoing Corps Members to be Ambassador of the State

ASABA/Nigeria: Corps Members have been advised to see themselves as being employed just as they are good ambassadors to Delta State and the country in general
The Commissioner for Information, Mr Patrick Ukah who was represented by the functioning Permanent Secretary, Mr Paul Osahor gave the advice during a sent-forth ceremony organised by the Ministry.
Ukah said that the event was held for the corps members to mark their dedication and hard work that they had exhibited while carrying out their primary assignment in the Ministry.
He stated that as corps members, they need to take advantage of the degree they had obtained from the University and use it as an opportunity to upgrade themselves as well as those who had taken the skills acquisition programs introduced by the Federal Government to skilfully equip themselves.
The Commissioner wished the corps members good-luck and a save journey to their various homes and for those staying behind, he advised to stay focus to their dreams and that the Ministry would do its best to assist them.
While thanking the Commissioner and the Ministry, Mr Amechi Obiora, who spoke on behalf of the corps members, said that they would ever remain grateful to the Ministry for its generosity and treatment which proved to them that they came to the right place for their primary assignment.
Highpoint of the ceremony was the presentation of souvenirs to the out-gone corps members.
