Hon Chika Ossai Receiving Exemplary Leadership Award From the Aballa Community
ABOH/Nigeria: The Delta State Commissioner for Lands and surveys Hon Chika Ossai has charged various communities in Ndokwa East to always ensure that peace reign in their domain as that alone can attract government attention.
Hon Chika Ossai gave the charge today when the youth arm of the three communities of Aballa clan paid him a courtesy call in his Iselegu country home, in Ndokwa East local government Area.
The Commissioner said, communal crisis does not bring development to any community rather it causes set back and untold hardship to the people, adding that Senator Okowa administration will continue to extend development to peaceful communities.
Hon Chika Ossai assured them of more government presence in Aballa clan, especially in the area of roads and health care facilities , emphasising that the state Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa will continue to ensure even development of all communities in delta state.
He appealed to the people of Aballa clan to always bring to the notice of government any issue that required urgent government attention for possible Solution.
The lands and surveys Commissioner assured them that government will look into their Ossissa-Aballa road that was awarded by NDDC but was abandoned by the contractor.as well as finding a lasting solution to their coastal erosion.
The president General of the three communities of Aballa clan Comrade Ifeanyi Okonji said they were in his house for a thank you visit and to present him an award of exemplary leadership.
He appealed to the State Government to come to the aid of Aballa clan as coastal erosion is ravaging the community.
The highlight of the visit was the appointment of Hon Chika Ossai as the grand patron of the Aballa youths Association.
