The family and the community who were in a mood of celebration, said that the almost one month absence of the children was a big pain.
According to the father of one of the abducted children, Mr Kes Oku the children were returned hale and hearty. The happy father said the children were rescued from Isele Uku, in Aniocha North LGA of the state.
Speaking further, Mr Oku said that the children were found when the police in Isele Uku raided a criminal den in the area and discovered some children in the building, and they were alerted to come and identify some children in their custody.
Oku noted the police arrested the gang of armed robbers who happened to be claiming false parenthood to the abducted kids found in the compound when the raid was made.
Also speaking on the development, the community vigilante chairman, Mr Prince Igbede said all efforts to rescue the children since their disappearance on the 23 of October, 2016 proved abortive until a call was received from the Isele Uku police station on information of rescued children from a hide out on the 13 of November, 2016.
According to Mr Igbede, when the family of the missing children got to the station they found the two, who were rescued along with two others, one from Ogume in Ndokwa West, and the other yet to be identified.
According to the information, along with the robbers, were a man and two women who were identified as workers for the abductors.
The police after the investigation in Isele Uku, had transferred the Children to the Umutu Police station in Ukwuani LGA, where the children were finally handed over to the family.
Along with the children transferred to Umutu, were the arrested adopters of the children for further investigation.
The two teenagers, Precious Oku 7, and Miracle Ifekam, were declared missing on 23 October, 2016 within the community.
