WARRI/Nigeria: A High Court Sitting in Warri, has retrained former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State, Activist Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro, along with Okezi Odugala, Eris Ibi Jewo, and others, to cease parading themselves as the executives of the Delta State Civil Society Organization Community.
The court granted an interim injunction restraining them from acting as leaders of the organization. The order was issued on May 25, 2023, by Justice V.O Agboje.
The court in the ruling stated that the named person should comply with the court order until the next hearing and the determination of the motion.
The interim executives appointed by Rex Anighoro, including Venture Evwerame, Augusta Impact Keneboh, Egbe Ambrose, Beauty Elo, Courage Ayovuata, Pat Akah, Izobo John, Frank Atimah, Harrison Agboro, Faith John, and Kuma Clark, have also been restrained from parading themselves as the interim executives of the Delta State Civil Society Organization Community.
The next hearing in this case is scheduled for June 19, 2023.
