ASABA/Nigeria: The Deputy Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ochor Christopher Ochor, had condoled with family of the former Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay on the demise of his mother, Mrs Hannah Ovuozourie, who died at the age of 88.
The Deputy Speaker, in a statement on Saturday, September 4, 2021, signed by his Press Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli, said the death of a loved one, especially which of a mother is always devastating.
He stated that her death would severely impact the former SSG, and the entire family, but prayed that God’s spirit should comfort them, realising she died serving the lord, who gives and takes life.
“On behalf of my family, aides, my Political Family I condole with you on the death of mama. Her death will definitely be shocking and devastating, as the death of a loved one will always be.”
“However, I pray that you and your siblings to look up to the lord, our creator for comfort.” He said.
