ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Government has developed an e-procurement portal with Uniform Resource Locator (URL) https/eprocurement.deltappc.di.gov.ng.
A statement signed by the State Director of Information, said the portal is to serve as an end-to-end online platform for the registration of contractors/vendors, display of MDAs procurement plans, invitation to contractor/ vendors of bids and to tender, and award of contract.
The statement called on contractors/vendors that are registered with the Delta State Contracts Registration Board to upload their relevant companies and registration documents on the portal, on or before Monday, 28th December, 2020 for free.
It called on the public, especially contractors and vendors, to note that in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, government contracts will be initiated and concluded via the portal, saying the swift e-registration will enable the state government to serve contractors and vendors better.
