ASABA/Nigeria: Ahead of November 18, 2019 scheduled for the elections of the 13 Executives Members of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Delta State Chapter, Governor Okowa’s political aides on Inter- Party Relations has said that they are sure the political party Chairmen would have a peaceful Election, as was disclosed to our reporter in the office of the Leadership of Inter-Party Relations today at Benin- Onitsha Express Way, Asaba, Delta State Capital.
The meeting for the harmonization for peaceful Election was attended by the Executive Assistant ( EA) to the Governor on Inter-Party Pelations and Delta State Chairman, Accord Party, Comrade Pst.David Ashikodi, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Inter-Party Relations, and Delta State Chairman, MPN, Hon.Chief Efe Tobor Josaiah, and Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Inter-Party Relations, Hon. Cosmas Annabel, and Delta State Chairman, ABP and most importantly all Political party Chairmen in the State who are the potential aspirants for different positions in the Executives cadre.
The Chairmen commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the appointments given to their members so far stated that the enlargement of the office portends good political development in the state.
Comrade David Ashikodi noted that he was happy for the large turnout of political party Chairmen as harmonization for peaceful Election will discourage any dangerous trend in the political calculations of the forthcoming IPAC Election.
SSA Inter-Party Relations, Chief Efe Tobor Josaiah in an interview with our reporter stated that the harmonization has become necessary as the objective of the meeting is to ensure that unity, peace in Delta IPAC Leadership and sustainable political development is achieved in the State before and after elections.
Investigations by our reporter has shown that eight of vital positions in the Executives will be returned unopposed as they have no contenders, which the political drawing is in favour of the APGA state Chairman, who is amongst the 3 Chairmanship aspirants, while other five positions which included amongst others: IPAC Chairmanship aspirants are State Chairmen of APGA, UDP, BNPP, other four positions being harmonized included the secretary and three others to promote a rancor free elections of the group.
