OWA-OYIBU/Nigeria: The chairman of Ika North East Local Government Area, Hon. Victor Ebonka has banned Cart- pushers aka ‘condemn iron’ from operating in Ika North East Local Government Area.
Hon. Ebonka handed down the ban during a chat with newsmen in his office at Owa-Oyibu Headquarters of Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta.
According to him, I hereby place an immediate ban on the activities of Cart-Pushers within the precepts of Ika North East Local Government Area.
“We have also directed law enforcement agencies to arrest and prosecute any attempts to violate this ban,” he added.
He noted the move was to enable them curtail raising cases of crime and other vices in the locality.
According to Hon. Ebonka who is also the state ALGON chairman, these fellows who continue to multiply daily must be checked. That is why everybody must be alert.
While commending security operatives in the area, he urged them not to relent in their effort upholding law, order and security of lives and properties.
