ASABA/Nigeria: The recently victory of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) at the Local Government Polls of January 6, 2018 has been attributed to God for the sake of the all the inhabitants of the state.
Making this assertion in his reaction of the party, the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Religious Matters, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu, said that because God wants the people of the state to succeed, that was the reason he gave the PDP the wisdom and ability to work tirelessly before and during the election.
“God is the person who by His infinite mercy gave Delta state to PDP for the good of all inhabitants of the state”.
“If God wants a given people to succeed as a state He gives members of the ruling party in such state the grace to work hard”.
“That is why He gave PDP the wisdom and ability to work tirelessly before and during the council election while the opposing party was asleep”.
Bishop Nmalagu said that it is not surprising, considering the pains and sufferings Nigerians are undergoing, that the people chose to remain with the party in the state, and with Sen.Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
“Considering the level of poverty, suffering and pains revenging people in Nigeria, it is quite obvious that Delta state is very fortunate to be ruled by PDP under the able leadership of our amiable Governor, Sen. Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, who is very hardworking, transparent and Godly to fellow mankind”.
The Executive Assistant pointed out that one of the good aspect of the PDP and the governor of the state can be seen in his recent intervention on the stranded Deltans in Libya, who were recently deported.
He praised the party and the governor, for using the office of the governor to rescue Nigerians from danger.
“There is no doubt that all the deportees he used his good office to deliver from danger and death may not belong to the ruling party, PDP in Delta state”.
He stressed that the victory of the party in all the 25 local government areas of the state is for the good of all Deltans, and this is a test case to prepare for the 2019 election.
“The victory of PDP in all the 25 Local Government Areas is for the good of all Deltans. The massive supports by Christians and nonchristians, politicians and non politicians to ensure that PDP won the election across the state is one of the evidences that God was behind the election as a formidable means to solidly prepare the present administration for her Landslide victory for second tenure, come 2019”.
He reminded Deltans that the problem of Deltans remains the problem of the party, and God has given the party members the good mind to do good.
