Delta Monarch Visits The Scene Of Crisis in Ukwuani LGA And Promises To Do Everything Within His Power To Maintain Peace Between Both Communities.

OBIARUKU/Nigeria: In furtherance the peace move among the warring communities of Umusume and Obinomba, the Traditional leader of Umukwata kingdom, HRM Enyi Friday Abaja, on Monday, March 2, 2020 visited the scene of the crisis where he held different meetings to ensure lasting peace between both communities. On arrival by HRM Enyi Friday Abaja, he first held a meeting with his palace chiefs at the site of the construction of his ongoing Estate along the new Sapele/Agbor road. After discussing with his Palace chiefs, he proceeded to the scene of the crisis where he saw the houses that were burnt.

From the scene of the Crisis, HRM Enyi Friday Abaja proceeded to Obinomba community where he held an enlarged meeting with Obinomba youths. He used the occasion to plead with his people to embrace peace and promised to do everything within his power to ensure lasting peace between both communities. In his usual manner, HRM Enyi Friday Abaja promised to rebuild all the houses that were burnt during the crisis. To this end, HRM Enyi Friday Abaja will hold another meeting with Obinomba Chiefs to discuss the process of rebuilding the burnt houses.

HRM Enyi Friday Abaja also promised to visit the family of the deceased in Umusume on a later date to condole with them and to discuss how best to assist his widow and the family to take care of the deceased children. HRM Enyi Friday Abaja pleaded with the people of Obinomba and Umukwata kingdom to embrace peace as this is the only way to go. HRM Enyi Friday Abaja in his words “I have made peace between other warring communities in Ndokwa Nation and I will do my best to ensure lasting peace between Umusume and Obinomba communities”.

Obinomba community promised to corporate with HRM Enyi Friday Abaja in ensuring lasting peace between them and their age long neighbour Umusume community. A peace Accord which was initiated by HRM Enyi Friday Abaja was today signed by Umusume and Obinomba community to ensure everlasting peace between the two communities.
