In his response, Hon. Nwoko said he was excited to see young Deltans come out to pursue a cause for the betterment of the Delta North, adding that his ambition when achieved would bring about tremendous progress and empowerments to the Anioma People.

“I’m happy you all have found time to visit me today to exchange ideas and chart a new course for our people. My ambition is a simple and direct one. It is to correct the wrong being experienced in the Delta North.”

“It is scary and most unfortunate that a Legislator in charge of a committee would be a contractor awarding contracts to himself. Even being accused of it is worrisome. If you gather all the wealth to yourself and you are the only rich man in your land, then you are poor. I have never been a contractor, I have never handled a contract and it isn’t when I become a senator that I would start handling contracts. I have always been a fan of sport and tourism which I believe we can maximize to stimulate our economy. As for our present representation, we can’t continue with what we have now, we have to sanitize the system and restore the glory of Anioma Nation. The world has to get to know that we are not nefarious” he said.
