IDUMUJE-GBOKO/Nigeria: Ward chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Delta North Senatorial District have thrown their weight behind Senator Ned Munir Nwoko’s re-election bid, unanimously endorsing him for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement came on Tuesday during a solidarity visit to the lawmaker, where the chairmen cited his performance, grassroots engagement, and commitment to the development of Anioma as compelling reasons to return him to the Senate.
Speaking on behalf of the ward leaders, Comrade Oseji Afam declared a vote of confidence in the senator, affirming their full and unwavering allegiance. “We assure you that in our wards, when you call us in the rainy season, we will answer. When you call us in the dry season, we will answer. Call us at night or at midnight, we will come. Call us in the day, we will come. Wherever you go, we are there. We thank you for all you do; our hope is in you,” Afam declared.
In his response, Senator Nwoko expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support, describing the endorsement as a strong affirmation of his legislative efforts and enduring relationship with the people at the grassroots.
“This visit is not just symbolic, it’s a powerful validation of our shared commitment to developing Anioma,” he said. “It is important that we, as a party, remain united—both old and new members—so that we can move forward together and secure a better future for our region and our people.”
The meeting also had in attendance the Delta North APC Senatorial Chairman, Ogbueshi Eluaka Adizue, who commended the gathering and emphasized the need for continuous collaboration between elected representatives and grassroots leaders.
Adizue urged all party members to sustain the momentum by strengthening internal cohesion, fostering dialogue, and ensuring that the voices of constituents are consistently reflected in policy decisions and legislative action.
With this endorsement, Senator Ned Nwoko’s re-election campaign appears to be gaining significant traction, bolstered by a growing base of loyal supporters within the party’s grassroots structure.
