Delta Queens Asked To Defeat Opponent

ASABA/Nigeria: Delta Queens head coach Dan Evumena has urged his side to go for all three points as they prepare to take on Bayelsa Queens in the match day two encounter of the ongoing Nigerian Women Premier league.

The former Falconet coach who gave the charge at the side’s last training ahead of the cracker later today Wednesday December 15th  said Delta Queens have the quality to overpower any side hence they should go all out to achieve the best in today’s game.

“At every point in time, I always tell my players to go into each game with a winning mindset, home or away”

“Though I have a crop of young having their first major league exposure compare to some of our rivals, these young girls are talented and with the right mind set everything is possible”

The Okowa Babes will engage the Bayelsa side in today’s second group game scheduled to hold at Nembe Town Stadium, Bayelsa State.

Delta Queens is in group B in the abridged Nigerian Women Premier league and drawn alongside FC Robo Queens, Abia Angels FC, Rivers Angels FC, Sunshine Queens FC and Bayelsa Queens.

Delta Queens is presently on one point, same as Rivers after pulling a draw in their first game while Bayelsa Queens and FC Robo Queens both have three points each.
