ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Commissioner for Economic Planning, Mr. Sonny Ekedayen, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his triumphant victory at the election tribunal.
Ekedayen emphasized the timeliness and divine nature of the governor’s triumph in the tribunal, highlighting the significance of this achievement for the people of Delta State.
The Commissioner for Economic Planning called upon the citizens of Delta State to rally behind Governor Oborevwori, offering their support to help him realize his ambitious MORE agenda for the state. This agenda encompasses meaningful development, equitable opportunities for all Deltans, pragmatic reforms, and enhanced peace and security.
Ekedayen believes that Governor Oborevwori’s victory at the election tribunal will allow him to channel his energies toward delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Delta State.
He further emphasized the potential for Delta State to become one of the fastest-developing states in the country under the leadership of Governor Oborevwori and the implementation of the MORE agenda.
In a gesture of unity and positivity, Mr. Ekedayen encouraged Deltans to maintain a constructive mindset. He also extended warm wishes for a joyous 63rd Independence anniversary celebration to all residents of the state.
The Commissioner urged members of opposition parties to collaborate with the governor in a concerted effort to propel Delta State forward. He cautioned that ongoing litigations could hinder the much-needed meaningful development that the state rightfully deserves.
