ASABA/Nigeria: The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has administered the oath of office to twenty-six recently appointed commissioners. The event saw the return of familiar faces to key positions, with a clear focus on advancing the state’s agenda for effective service delivery.
Notable reappointments included Sir Fidelis Tillije, who will resume his role in Finance, and Mr. Charles Aniagwu, now tasked with the Ministry of Works, specifically overseeing rural roads. Additionally, Princess Pat Ajudua, a former State House of Assembly member, will take charge of the Ministry of Women Affairs.
Governor Oborevwori, in his address during the ceremony, called upon the incoming officials to uphold principles of fairness, equity, and justice as they assume their roles. The central goal of these appointments is to ensure optimal service delivery to the citizens of the state.
