Delta State Government Calls for Active Participation in Nigerian Army Recruitment Exercise ….Urges Eligible Deltans to Engage in Ongoing Screening for 86th Regular Recruits Intake

ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State Government, on Tuesday, November 5, issued a call urging qualified Deltans and members of the public to actively participate in the current screening exercise for the Nigerian Army’s 86th Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for Trades and Non-Trades Men and Women.

The screening, which commenced on Monday, 4th December, is being held at the Cenotaph Complex along High Court Road, GRA, Asaba, simultaneously across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and is set to conclude on Sunday, 17th December, 2023.

In a statement released by the State Bureau of Orientation, Dr. Wilfred Latimore Oghenesivbe, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Orientation and Communication, outlined the eligibility criteria. Applicants in the Non-Tradesmen/Women category, aged between 18 and 22 years, must possess a minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, in not less than 2 sittings in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB. Meanwhile, those in the Tradesmen/Women category, within the age range of 18 to 26 years, require Trades-Test or City and Guild Certificates as additional qualifications.

The statement further specified that applicants vying for positions such as Midwives and/or Nurses should fall within the 18 to 30 years age bracket.

Dr. Oghenesivbe emphasized the significance of this opportunity, stating, “All applicants are strongly advised to turn up from 7 am daily, starting Monday, 4th December until Sunday, 17th December, 2023, at Cenotaph Complex, along High Court Road, GRA, Asaba, for the recruitment exercise.”
