ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, extended his warm congratulations to Mrs. Roli Uduaghan, the wife of former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, as she celebrated her 62nd birthday.
Describing Mrs. Uduaghan as a woman of remarkable character, Governor Oborevwori lauded her as “a brave, pleasant, kind-hearted woman and a powerful pillar of support to her husband.” The governor’s commendation was conveyed through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon.
Governor Oborevwori specifically commended Mrs. Uduaghan for her unwavering dedication to both the work of God and humanity. He fondly recalled her “I CARE” project, a platform she utilized to make a profound impact on the lives of numerous individuals during her husband’s administration, with a particular focus on widows and prisoners.
Expressing warm wishes on behalf of his own family and the entire Delta State community, Governor Oborevwori stated, “We join you and your family in thanking the Almighty Father for 62 fruitful years of service to Him and our people. Reaching the age of 62 in grace, with continual awe of God, and in service to humanity calls for joy.”
The governor further acknowledged Mrs. Uduaghan’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the underprivileged, particularly widows and prisoners, in the state. He noted the significant impact of her advocacy for widows’ and children’s rights in Delta State, citing the establishment of the Widows’ Welfare Scheme in 2015 by the State Government as a testament to her enduring influence.
Governor Oborevwori concluded his congratulatory message with a heartfelt prayer, saying, “It is my prayer that God would honor you and continue to provide you with good health, long life, and prosperity so that you can continue to serve Him and humanity on this historic occasion of your 62nd birth anniversary celebration.”
