ASABA/Nigeria: The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the constitution of the 2024 Flood Disaster Management Committee. This announcement was made in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu.
The committee is tasked with proposing appropriate measures for the prevention and management of flooding, addressing the displacement of people, and suggesting ways to provide relief materials to victims. Additionally, they are to advise Governor Oborevwori on measures to achieve these objectives.
