Delta State Governor Extols Justice Francis Tabai on 5th Coronation Anniversary

ASABA/Nigeria: In a gesture of admiration and respect, Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Justice Francis Tabai, Pere Esuku I, Ebenanaowei of Tuomo Kingdom, on the commemoration of his fifth coronation anniversary.

This was contained in a Press Statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, where the governor commended the monarch for fostering a climate of peace within Tuomo Kingdom since assuming the revered throne.

Governor Oborevwori hailed Justice Tabai, a retired Justice of the Supreme Court, as “a man of unwavering integrity, a bridge builder, and a man of peace, whose tenure had been of immeasurable value to the kingdom and humanity.”

In his message, the Governor expressed, “On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I warmly congratulate His Royal Majesty, Justice Francis Tabai, CON, Pere Esuku I, Ebenanaowei of Tuomo Kingdom on the occasion of his 5th coronation anniversary.”

He further extended his felicitations, saying, “I join the people of Tuomo Kingdom and the Ijaw nation in celebrating a great monarch and wishing him good health, wisdom and strength as he continues with the responsibility of leading his people traditionally and culturally.”

Governor Oborevwori highlighted the exemplary leadership demonstrated by Pere Esuku I during his five-year reign, noting his commitment to upholding cultural heritage and fostering harmonious relations among various ethnic groups within the state.

In concluding remarks, the governor underscored his admiration for Pere Esuku’s adeptness in preserving Tuomo’s cultural fabric and traditions, promoting socio-cultural collaboration, communal living, and peaceful cohabitation among the Ijaw community and other ethnicities residing within Delta State.
