ASABA/Nigeria: In a gesture of commendation and celebration, Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm congratulations to the Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly, Hon. (Engr) Emmanuel Emeka Nwaobi, as he marked his 49th birthday on Wednesday.
According to a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori praised Nwaobi, who also serves as the Chairman of the Nigerian Majority Leaders’ Forum, hailing him as an astute lawmaker whose representation has brought honour and goodwill not only to his constituency of Aniocha North but also beyond.
Commending Nwaobi’s exceptional capacity, humility, and patriotism in steering the affairs of the Assembly as House Leader, Governor Oborevwori described him as a cerebral lawmaker of impeccable competence, stating, “Delta State is blessed to have competent lawmakers in the class of Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi.”
The Governor expressed his appreciation for Nwaobi’s unwavering commitment to matters of state interest, development, and progress since assuming the role of Majority Leader. He conveyed heartfelt celebrations on behalf of his family, the Government, and the people of Delta State.
“In recognition of your vast knowledge, experience, and worthy ideals in the discharge of the functions of your office, your colleagues across the nation overwhelmingly chose you as the Chairman of the Nigerian Majority Leaders’ Forum,” Governor Oborevwori noted.
He further acknowledged Nwaobi’s role in fostering harmonious working relationships between the Executive and Legislature in the State, navigating the contours of the Assembly with skill and dedication.
As he concluded, Governor Oborevwori extended his wishes for a joyous birthday celebration and prayed for God Almighty to continue keeping Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi in good health, blessing him with many more years of robust service to the people of Aniocha North and Delta State as a whole.
