ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has extended his congratulations to Senator James Manager, the former Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, on his 64th birthday.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori lauded Senator Manager for his significant contributions to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the development of Delta State. “You worked really hard and established the groundwork for our party’s subsequent successes in the State as the founding chairman of our magnificent party in Delta,” he said.
Governor Oborevwori, expressing his best wishes, stated, “On behalf of my family, the Government and people of Delta, I congratulate our pioneer Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and immediate past Senator for Delta South, Distinguished Senator James Ebiowou Manager, CON, on the occasion of his 64th birth anniversary.”
Highlighting Senator Manager’s two decades of service in the Senate, the Governor remarked, “Senator Manager, now 64, served in the Senate for 20 continuous years and made outstanding and priceless contributions to the advancement of the country. As a government, we take great pride in your outstanding contributions to the development of the country throughout your 20 years as a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
Governor Oborevwori also acknowledged the statesmanship demonstrated by Senator Manager both in and out of the Senate. “We appreciate the statesmanship you have demonstrated in and out of the Senate, and on this auspicious occasion in your life, I join your family and political allies in commemorating 64 years of extraordinary achievements that God has graciously bestowed upon you,” he added.
Concluding his message, the Governor prayed for the Senator’s continued health and wisdom. “I pray to the Almighty God to grant Senator Manager long life, good health, and wisdom to continue serving humanity and God,” he said.
