ASABA/Nigeria: Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, has extended warm felicitations to the Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Arthur Akpowowo, on the occasion of his birthday.
Describing Akpowowo as an exceptional ally, Speaker Guwor emphasized the Deputy Speaker’s unwavering display of affection, loyalty, and respect during their seven-month collaboration in the 8th Delta Assembly.
The accolades were conveyed through a statement issued by Guwor’s Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke.
Commending the celebrant for his remarkable dedication to duty, as well as his passion for peace, security, development, and good governance in Delta State, Speaker Guwor reminisced about a pivotal moment in the early days of the 8th Assembly.
“I recall the motion he brought under Matters of Urgent Public Importance a few weeks after the Inauguration of the 8th Assembly, on security challenges facing his constituents in Abraka and environs,” shared the Speaker. “The resolution of the House on the motion helped to douse the threatening situation as relevant authorities were encouraged to increase efforts in dealing with the issue.”
Amidst congratulations on the Deputy Speaker’s birthday, Guwor extended his wishes for greater grace upon Akpowowo, expressing hopes for divine intervention in all facets of his life, contributing to personal growth and prosperity.
