Delta State House of Assembly Speaker Honoured with DIPA’s Patron’s Award for Humanitarian Service

ASABA/Nigeria: In a ceremony held at his official residence in Asaba, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor, was conferred with a distinguished award for his exceptional service to humanity by the Dyslexia Initiative Project Africa (DIPA).

The prestigious honour was presented to him by Mrs. Enddy Sunny-Udjor, the founder and Executive Director of DIPA, a non-governmental organization dedicated to humanitarian causes.

The accolade, named the DIPA Patron’s Award, was bestowed upon the Speaker in recognition of his remarkable contributions to various humanitarian endeavors, both in the past and present.

Expressing her congratulations, Mrs. Sunny-Udjor commended Rt Hon Guwor for his well-deserved recognition and encouraged him to persist in his dedicated service to both God and humanity.

In response, Speaker Emomotimi Guwor conveyed his gratitude to DIPA for acknowledging the principles that led to his selection for the award. While expressing some reservations about awards in general, he humbly accepted this honor, acknowledging its alignment with his deeply held beliefs.

“I thank DIPA for this recognition and assure my unwavering commitment to serving God and humanity. I am grateful for this award and pledge to remain steadfast in my pursuit of a better society, including active involvement in humanitarian service. Once again, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to your organization for this acknowledgment. Thank you, and may God bless us all,” stated Guwor.
