ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark on his 97th birthday, marking the milestone on May 25, 2024.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, Guwor praised Chief Clark as a quintessential icon and a steadfast voice for the Niger Delta. He highlighted Clark’s enduring role as a father figure and distinguished ambassador of the Ijaw nation, lauding him as a national treasure.
“Pa EK Clark is our quintessential leader and icon. A dependable voice in the Niger Delta, father, and a great ambassador of the Ijaw Nation. He is undisputedly a national treasure,” Guwor stated.
The Speaker underscored Chief Clark’s unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and equality for the people of the Niger Delta, emphasizing his efforts to ensure the oil-rich region is not overlooked.
