ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Isaiah Bozimo Esq, has assured that the ministry of justice will synergise with the State Orientation Bureau for effective service delivery.
The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice who played host to Barr Eugene Ozum, state Director General of Orientation and his team, says, the state website is key and critical to government activities.
“The website is key to all we do as a ministry. Ministry work is delivered through the official website. There is a lot we have to do. Not just communicating what we are doing in the ministry. ”
He added, “We have to use the website as a public engagement. We use the website to deliver on the open justice and laws of the state. Delta State will have to link to members of the public to access judgement of courts very freely. We communicate to them what the ministry is doing. “He added
The Attorney-General also note that “To us, it is critical to have it. It shows that we are a professional outfit. The work we are doing here is very important and critical. We deliver on these as much as possible. The website is key to us since the need for it cannot be over emphasised”
The State Director general Bureau for Orientation, Barr Eugene Uzum who led his team on a courtesy call on the Attorney general, said their visit was to support the ministry in the fight on criminal justice administration through proper information dissemination with the ministry website.
He stressed further, “we are to Synergise with the Attorney-General and to ensure that a very critical committee of the government like human trafficking, illegal migration is given urgent attention”
“Our visit to the Commissioner is reassuring and I am looking forward for a robust synergy. Delta state orientation Bureau is very critical. I must confess, I am satisfied with the synergy we have with this ministry so far” He added.
