Mr. Orishedere remarked that a total of eighteen thousand, seven hundred and sixty-one students qualified for bursary out of over twenty four thousand applications.

“Total number of students that applied was twenty four thousand, six hundred and twenty one. So, after the screening, eighteen thousand, seven hundred and sixty-one qualified for payment and that is the number of students that were paid.”

Mr. Sunday Orishedere added that the Scholarship Board had computerized the state bursary registration and payment systems to check attempts by unqualified persons to bypass it’s process.
