ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State Commissioner for Women Affairs Community and Social Development, Mrs. Flora Alatan has reiterated the need for workers and civil servants alike to adhere to the codes of conduct guiding appropriate conduct and behavior in their workplace.
The Women Commissioner made this statement in the Conference Hall of her Ministry during a meeting held with Directors and senior officers of the Ministry.
The Commissioner pointed out how effective service delivery was tantamount to governments expectations especially with the provision of such conducive working environment provided by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Alatan commended the efforts being put in by her dedicated staff in running the helms of affairs of the Ministry especially her Permanent Secretary Mrs Oghenekevwe Agas and urged them not to relent saying that God who saw in secret that would pave a way for them to be rewarded eventually.
She believed the Ministry to be blessed with the potential of emerging top notch especially in the aspect of service delivery and cajoled her directors to motivate their staff to become proactive and dedicated to work.
The Permanent Secretary Mrs. Oghenekevwe Agas responding on behalf of the staff of the Ministry, appreciated the Commissioner for her motherly role and humane qualities and assured her of putting in a 101% in pushing the staff for service delivery and maintaining good conduct.
