Deputy Speaker Lends Support for Ndokwa General Assembly Holding in December 2019.

ASABA/Nigeria: The Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor, had given his blessings to Ndokwa General Assembly, which had been planned by the apex body of the Ndokwa People, Ndokwa Neku Union, NNU.

The Deputy Speaker, stated his supports when the leadership of the NNU, led by High Chief Johnson Opone, visited him in his office on Monday, January 9, 2019, to officially inform him of the planned program for this December.

Rt. Hon Ochor Ochor, while congratulating the NNU leadership for the planned programme, stated that the only and best way for communities to show sign of development is to be united, and pursue same goals and objectives. He stressed that a society that is faced with constant complains, and disagreement does not progress, but only through unity of purpose that progress can be achieved.

He congratulated the people of Ndokwa, through the leadership of the NNU for the forthcoming General Assembly, and tasked all Ndokwa sons and Daughters to see the event as one to be supported.

Earlier, the President General of the Ndokwa apex body, Ndokwa Neku Union, NNU, High Chief John Opone, had briefed the deputy speaker of the planned General Assembly, and activities planned for that day, which includes the review of the NNU Constitution, and the official launching of the Ndokwa House, which a prototype of the designed house was displayed.

Other delegates are Chief Daphey Chikem, the Ist Vice President, and Pastor Jonathan Dike, the Secretary of the NNU.
