ABOH/Nigeria: Leading aspirant for Delta State House of Assembly, Ndokwa East Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Lucky Dikadi Chukwunedum, has consulted with the local government leadership of the party, disclosing his intention for the plum job to replace incumbent Friday Osanebi of the Ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Hon Lucky Dikadi, opined that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), should not be fielding candidates contesting for such position, but rather be hiding their faces in shame after 24 years of mismanagement of the resources of Deltans.
He said, “I am here to inform my father, chairman and executives of our beloved party the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ndokwa East of my interest to contest for Delta State House of Assembly.
And being a party man; I have been loyal to the party and I have what it takes to attract democracy dividends for my people, not just within my constituency, but the entire state.
I am convinced beyond doubt that the party would listen to me, just as they will listen to other aspirants. But at the end, they will juxtapose and come up with their best”, he said.
“All Nigerians are clamouring for younger representative in constituted authority specifically in the legislative arm of government because in every assignment, the younger blood always delivers better.
If you look at the cream of political leaders coming up, 80% of them are young men and I believe that mine will not be different, goodies will be flowing and the youths will be happy.
“This is the time the youths would work for themselves.” He said.
My constituents should expect good roads, youth empowerment, job creation and they should expect charity because I will do more of that.
Speaking, the Ndokwa East Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Barr. Austine Ogbolu advised members of the party seeking for elective positions to do that with love.
“As a Chairman of all party members in Ndokwa East, I owe nothing other than to give them advice. I can’t afford to lose any person in my family – the family of APC.
My advice is that they should do their consultation with every sense of love.
If it is not you, obviously it must be your brother. As such, we know the better candidate in our house to send to represent us.
While praying for the aspirant, the local government chairman said, “You (Hon Lucky Dikadi) have been a faithful son of the party and I want to assure you that there will be a level playing ground for all, is a family affair.
It’s my prayer that you find favour in the sight of our maker in whom is our strength and trust as we journey together. He said.
