Hon. Sir. Kenny E. Okolugbo, Commissioner representing the people of Ndokwa Nation on the board of DESOPADEC has charged Ndokwa elites to brace up and support the Pharm. Paul O. Enebeli led Ndokwa National Union (NNU), he said history would be kind to him for his efforts in repositioning the NNU and that the apex socio-cultural body of the Ndokwa People has never been so seriously focused. He made the statement during the just concluded biennial conference held in Kwale.
The commissioner also called on the present NNU Exco to insulate themselves from politics even though they cannot pretend not to know what is happening about the governance of the state and Nigeria as a whole because the Secretary and Publicity Secretary including the PG are tested politicians before now.
He however frowned and decried the meager amount realised for the socio-cultural headquarters of the NNU during the launching and assured that apart from the N1million given by DESOPADEC in the course of preparation for the conference, they will surely support the project substantially as the project when completed will be the symbol and home of the Ndokwa People both home and in diaspora. In the same vain, he announced a donation of a brand new 18-seater bus to the NNU which will be delivered in January, 2014 to assist in the smooth running of the Union.
