ASABA/Nigeria: As part of Corporate Social Responsibility to Society, Dr. Gift Okwuolise (The Messenger) and the House of Representative Candidate of the Labour Party, Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency donates relief materials to IDPs in Kwale, Ashaka, and Ibrede Community.

chool IDP Camp, Ashaka and Egbedi Primary School IDP Camp, Ibrede, where he provided succor to the IDPs through his Foundation, *Charity Charity & Development Foundation*.
Charity Charity & Development Foundation has been in existence for a few years and has been doing tremendously in empowering lives.
At the various Camps he visited, in his remarks expressed concern about the colossal damage, losses of lives and property caused by the ravaging flood, he said *”I FEEL YOUR PAINS, I AM ONE OF YOU, I HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE, I KNOW WHAT IT FEELS TO LOSE EVERYTHING, I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO START ALL OVER”* He encouraged the flood victims to remain strong, and believe in God for a renewed strength to start up again. He said, hope is not lost, help is coming.
He said, the flood is a natural disaster, but can be controlled if our Government is responsive enough to initiate preventive measures, by honouring the agreement with Cameron to establish a dam in Nassarawa State, that can hold excess water being released from the Cameroon dam.
He also said that Government needs to, as a matter of urgency begin the dredging of the River Niger which has become so shallow and can no longer hold the volume of water that spreads to the lower Niger, leading to excessive flooding. He maintained that Government must stand up to it’s responsibility of protecting lives and property.
At Ibrede IDP Camp, set up by the good people of Ibrede Community, which houses thousands of IDPs from Ndokwa East extraction, Dr. Gift Okwuolise was full of praises by the Ibrede Community Executives led by Hon. Domero Omohovie, acknowledged Dr. Gift for providing succor for the IDPs and call on other communities to emulate the kind hearted gesture.
Dr. Gift Okwuolise in his speech, gave words of hope to the IDPs and thanked them for accepting his token.
