ASABA/Nigeria: A frontrunner of the Ndokwa East State Constituency Seat for the Delta State House of Assembly, Engr. Philips Chukwumah Ugbomah had appeal to the 130 delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to vote rightly to choose the right candidate to represent the area in the forthcoming 2023 General Election.
The Assembly Aspirant made the appeal in a recorded video he made and shared online on Monday April 25, 2022 in Asaba, pointing out that the destiny of the Ndokwa East is in their hands to ensure that the best aspirant is selected to effectively represent the area in the next four years staring from the year 2023.
“My appeal to the 130 delegates of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, that had been saddled with the opportunity to make this selection from the lot of who are in this game, the best that will champion the cause of history of Ndokwa East political destiny, at least for the minimum of four years, viz a viz 8 years when people are giving the opportunity to serve for consolidation.”
“Look not to little side distractions that tend to dominate our political landscape that will not be of any substance to our future as people of Ndokwa East, to see first our local Government, before personal aggrandisement.
He assured them that God had given him the resources and enablement to represent better, that whatever that is due to them will get to them as at when due.
“I assure you that God had given me the resources and enablement that to represent you better, and whatever due to you will get to you as at when due. I appeal to you to vote me as the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to stand in for the General Election in 2023.”
Engr Ugbomah who is known for his survival instinct in the promotion of business, community and youth developments through the Grace of God, assured the people of using his experiences to bring smile to the people of the area if given the opportunity to serve them to ensure that the basic needs of the area, such as roads, exploitation of the massive natural resources of the area for the good of all will be pursued, with continuous harmonious living of both the leaders and youths for massive infrastructure development.
“My experience so far as a survival by the Grace of God who had led me this far, will help me to represent your interests.”
“Yes, Ndokwa East needs roads, Engr Philips can do the work. Ndokwa East is to engage between the leaders and the youths, to chart a course for massive infrastructure development, Engr Philips will be an interface, our rural schools that the government spends millions to construct and renovate, and teachers cannot dwell within, we must get access to our communities before others who are employed to work could come.”
He stated that he is in the race to bring development to the area, through better representation and not to flex muscle with the leaders of the area, as his main agenda for the development of the large natural resources endowed in Ndokwa east.
